Tuesday's Two-Cents (on Wed)

thoughts on the past weekend ~ had a great long weekend in K.C. Stephanie and I took a short vacation to get away for a few days. We spent quite a bit of time hanging out on the Plaza. We took part of a day and went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum (you should check it out if you're in the KC area) and another day we went to Schlitterbahn - a newly open water park in the KC area. Overall a great weekend to sit back and relax.

this weeks to dos ~ a lot back in the office - finishing touches on Leadership Teams (I hope) - I'm waiting on people to get back to me on what they have discerned and prayed about as far as serving. Also getting ready for our Leaders Retreat next weekend. Overall a busy week!

book I'm reading ~ Messy Spirituality, Purpose Driven Life

thoughts on the coming week ~ it's gonna be a ride - a busy one at that!

Ahh Schlitterbahn..fun place, our family went to the one in Texas.

Aorry my phone died when I was talking to you..haha maybe we can still eat lunch sometime?

You know, John 9 has some really interesting/idk what it means stuff in it too. But I'll read John 11.
Ahh, the good ol' 'Jesus wept.' Classic :P That is such a deep verse though... God grieves too. That is so cool, verse 44. The dead man came out, and since he had been there for four days and there was a 'bad odor', his body must have been experiencing some sort of decomposition. But then he is able to walk when Jesus calls him. We really do not have a single excuse to not see that Jesus is God, and God is powerful...powerful enough to control nature(storms, dead bodies, quail), and not to mention making all of it in the first place. 49-52 is so interesting! It is kind of weird to think/see that God has His plan going the whole time, and that His hand was in it all. Then you have the whole 'God is Father and Son, so He had His hand in His own death' and all of the intracacies of that...
I guess that wasn't really skimming was it? Oh well..
