To Ponder...

"There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life."

- The slogan atheist Richard Dawkins has placed on 30 London buses during the month of January, quoted on Crosswalk.com

What do you think?

Since when are believing in God and enjoying life exclusive? Seems to me that my belief in God allows me to enjoy life.
I don't carry the weight and worries of the world on my shoulders. I know that my God, who cares enough about the birds of the air to give them food and shelter, is with me every single moment.
I am loved no matter how badly I screw up.
Every night, I go to sleep knowing that I am loved and forgiven.
My self worth is not based on how I compare to others. It is based on the fact that the God that made the universe loves me more than I can even imagine.
The slogan should be...
"Want to enjoy life?? Get to know God!!"

sounds as if he as most of us do, wants to keep control of his life rather than give it to the creator of the earth; and he wishes others to buy into his ideology so that he can maybe seek comfort in the idea that other agree with him.

it would seem to me that this guy hasnt done much research. at all. and why does having a God make us worry? He takes it all away, lets us know that He has a plan through it all... if only people knew how much God loved them... what would happen?
HAH. great rhetorical question huh... i think i might be good at those.
